Vitiligo is a “white spot disease”: types, causes, treatment.

Vitiligo or piebald skin, “a disease of old spots” – a violation of pigmentation in human skin. In the literature this disease is denoted by the terms lampetia or PES.

The disease is characterized by the disappearance of the pigment melanin in certain areas of the human skin. This disease may occur as in men and women.
